Senior men played host to Glenullin on Friday 27th for their sixth league game of the season. Glenullin proved why they are League 2 leaders by delivering a dominant performance throughout the sixty minutes. Desertmartin showed great spirit and will be disappointed with their own scoreline. The home side matched the visitors for possession in the opening half but it was Glenullin’s sharp finishing that was the difference, leading at the break 1-6 to 0-3. Glenullin put the result beyond doubt when they scored a goal early in the second half followed by three unanswered points. The closing quarter saw the best of the Saffrons. Competing strongly in the middle they worked the ball forward and out-scored Glenullin 0-4 to 0-2 in the last ten minutes. The game finished Glenullin 2-11 Desertmartin 0-7
